Our Team

At Sound Healing International, our team brings together sound, science, and consciousness. Each member reflects the core values of SHI: integrity, expertise, collaboration and global vision.

Sew Handpan – Instruments & Sound Culture

Sew Handpan is one of the most important handpan maker and sound instruments for wellbeing. With a presence in over 50 countries and a network of around 180 distributors, Sew Handpan has played a key role in spreading sound as a tool for awareness and transformation.

Sew Handpan is the creator of the Sew Retreat Center, a space dedicated to training, research and immersive sound experiences. They have opened several Sew Handpan Schools, bringing musical and vibrational education around the world.

Among the spin-offs of the Sew Group are Wepan and SonicArt.
Wepan is an innovative e-learning app dedicated to handpan and sound education, offering live lessons, an interactive virtual handpan, and structured practice programs that make sound learning accessible anywhere in the world.  SonicArt is focused on sound-based installations, including the Sound Tree and other sonic artworks that explore the relationship between sound, space, and human experience.

Within Sound Healing International, Sew Handpan contributes to the development of standards related to instruments, sound quality, and professional sound healing practice.

Federica Rogani - Sound Healing Explorer

Federica Rogani is a sound researcher, educator, and the co-founder of Sound Healing International. Raised in a family where yoga and sound were a daily presence, surrounded since childhood by musical instruments from diverse traditions, she developed an early and embodied relationship with sound as a living practice.

Since 2016, she has been working hands on with sound in educational and experiential contexts, integrating tradition, contemporary practice, and direct observation with people from all over the world. Her work focuses on sound as a field of exploration, learning, and professional development, supporting practitioners through structured education and shared standards.

Federica brings to SHI an accessible and rigorous approach, capable of guiding students from their first encounter with sound to the construction of a true professional identity as Sound Healing Experts.
